serration at edge of petal

Hi

 

Using Leaves Mesh, is there any way to get a serration at the end of a petal like in the attached image?

Or will I have to model them and use Instanced?

I think you can. You could try changing the "angle along" toward the serrated end of the petal then using the "width" graph to make the serrations. I can try this out a little later for you.

I've tried tweaking everything without success.

I gave it a shot. I used the "angle along" and width to shape the petal towards the end. It sort of works but not perfectly. If you want a better result you  might have to use referenced geometry or an opacity map.
