Javadevil
Hi Guys, I'm trying to create the new growth on a tree. How do you make leaves smaller closer to the tip of the branch ?
Eduard
Hi Javadevil, If you distribute the leaves using the Path distributor, you can add an Affect from yourLeavesPath > PathDistr > Parameter: Path position to the yourLeavesPath->Length, then turn on the Factor graph in the Affect settings. The graph can be adjusted as you like. Also turn on the Scale proportionally in the Leaves mesh settings. Cheers!
Javadevil
Thanks Eduard, I tried this and its not working. The leaves have a separate path for the stem, could this be a problem ?
Tobitobs
hello Javadevil, can you post your tree?
3DMK
Thanks Eduard, I tried this and its not working. The leaves have a separate path for the stem, could this be a problem ? Yes. You will need to use the same technique with the stem to affect itself & the leaf. In other words you will need two different Affects setups on the stem. One will control the length of the stem, & the other will control the length of the leaf.
