Crash when Creating a hierarchy of mesh objects.

hi

 

i made a tree with a looping wind animation, but growfx and 3dsmax2024 crash when i press the create hierarchy of meshes button.

i guess that doesnt work for animated object?

i was hoping to have animated mesh with separeted objects, so i could transfer the animation to a bone system.

does anyone have a suggestion how to use growfx for animated trees to export to a game engine? the engine doesn't support cached animation. has to be keyframed..

i read some forum posts where the developper suggests that they working on exporting rigged trees with bones? but i cant find any further info..

Hi Eduard,
I'm just on the hunt for it for a large file for a few hours now...
and finally I think that AFTER MESH wind in my scene does the consistent crash when do "create hierarchy of meshes" (group by color enabled)
when deleted all after mesh mods its processing!
Does that sound fair for you ?
If you cant recreate I prob can send a file a bit later, LMK.
