cache mode

i am working on a rather complicated project for the moment with lot's of animated plants.the problem is that the update per frame takes horribly long :-( so i wonder if there could be added a cache mode like in rayfire per excample?that would speed some things dramaticly.

what you think?

Hi Massi,


If you're creating a wind animation, please apply the Wind modifier into the AfterMeshModifiers, it will speed up the update. It will be a long one update for the first frame, and then will be quick updates of all the other frames. If that's not enough, then using AfterMeshModifiers you can use the Point Cache modifier for full caching the models.
Also, if you're use VRay, you can create an animated vray proxies...
