Midge
Hi guys, I'm having some trouble with the orientation of my leaves. In the attached render, I gave the leaves a Front & Back material. The green side is the front of the leaf, while the red is the back. As you can see, some leaves are flipped, giving me undesired results when rendering with a two-sided material. I'd like to have the top of all of the leaves facing the sky. Is there any way I can control how the leaves are facing, so none of them are flipped the wrong way? I've tried a bunch of different things, but can't seem to get it right. Cheers, M. ptrain03
It looks like you could just add the "vector orientation" Directional modifier. Just set it to world space, and set the y to 100% This should fix it
Eduard
Hi Midge, Yes, Paul is right. Add the Vector orientation modifier (in the Direction Modifiers panel) for your leaves, set the Strength % = 100, then choose X or Y orientation. More likely it will be Y orientation.
