Creation of leaf that split into 2 at the end

Just to check is there a way to create the palm leaf in growfx as attached?

Hi avihcc,

 

I think you can use 2 paths instead of one to create this leaf. First, these paths must grow together, then they will separate in different directions. You can use the Copy dir modifier to make these paths copy some main path of the leaf.

Here's an example:

But you can also make a separate path for split leaves. But there will be an unconnected mesh junction.

For the split leaves . Can they be angled like the attached images 1 and 2?

Hi avihcc,

 

Of course it's difficult to catch the turning angles, but I did it.
I rotated the leaf by changing the Angle axis values in the Leaves mesh settings, and also adding Twist to Leaves_ctrl path to rotate the entire leaf.

I also had to slightly adjust the Radial offset in the Copy direction modifier.
