Timursq
Hello, I’ve been experimenting with the new Space Colonization nodes. Great new tool. One thing I’m running into is that the distribution seems to reseed very easily. Almost any modification to another node in the graph appears to change the result, even when the Space Colonization settings themselves are unchanged. Is there a way to lock or stabilize the seed so the distribution remains consistent while editing other parts of the graph? Or am I missing an existing stable seed option somewhere? Thanks in advance.
Eduard
Hello Timursq, Thanks for your feedback. The Space Colonization result should be stable if the seed and all input data remain unchanged. However, this node is very sensitive to its inputs, such as parent paths, attractor points/clouds, distribution nodes, and other connected modifiers. Even small upstream changes can affect the resulting branch structure. But if almost any modification in the graph causes the result to change, I'd like to investigate it. Could you please send me a 3ds Max file with this model? Also, please let me know which parameters or nodes you're changing when this happens. This will help me check whether it's expected behavior or if there's a stability issue that needs to be fixed. Thanks!
