bartek_muczyn
I'm using 3dsmax 2020 and GrowFX 2.2.0 . I don't know if there's an issue on my end, but the plugin became completely unpredictable and unstable. Random operations make 3ds Max crash. And it happens a lot... i.e., adding a trim node to a direction modifier or changing the input makes a crash. The same with changing the order of the nodes. Also getting memory failure errors, which is really strange because 2 million polys isn't that much. Sorry to say, but I'm getting crashes over and over again, and it happens randomly. The plugin freezes 3ds Max very often; the progress bar stops, and that's it; nothing happens, and I need to close 3ds Max. Never happened before with older installments of the plugin. I don't know if it helps - I'm using space colonization as a first builder in my model.
Eduard
Hello, Thank you for the detailed report, and sorry for the trouble. If the crashes are random and especially happen while changing nodes, inputs, or node order, the best way for me to investigate this is to check the actual scene. Space Colonization was significantly updated in recent versions, so it is very possible that there is a specific case in your model that triggers an instability. Could you please send me the 3ds Max file that reproduces the problem via private message or email? If possible, please also include a short description of the steps that usually lead to the crash or freeze. Once I have the file, I will investigate it and try to find the cause as soon as possible. Best regards, Eduard
