Strob
Is it possible to add some chaos in the radius of a distributed stem on a surface. Even If I try to use a factor map with a noise map, the radisu is identical for every distibuted stems...
Eduard
Yes of course, you can create an affect from any parameter of the distributor to the mesh radius, and there set the chaos value. See my example: Max file: ChaosRadius_1.max Cheers
Strob
Hi thanks for the answer, but the problem is with the density. If you put the count to 1 instead of 10 and you increase the density, the radius will not change.... density is important for distribution over a surface because if I use "count", the instances will not follow the surface.. Btw, would be great to be able to change the seed for random distribution.

For the Surface distributor you should create the affect from the Parameter: Surface, settings are the same... See my example: Max file: ChaosRadius_2.max Btw, would be great to be able to change the seed for random distribution. Yes, we plan to add the seed parameter for some components. Eduard
We have found the cause of your problem There is a small bug in the transfer parameter of the affecting system. Now we have fixed it! In any case the noise map doesn't work as it should, and I don't know why... If use another map, it will work fine: Then tomorrow we'll update the plugin, and you can download it. Thanks for your example!
