Eduard
Hi Morten, At the moment we know the cause of this problem, but don't yet know how to solve it. We'll try as soon as possible to find a solution. I'll let you know the results... Now you can change the parameters of your Noise direction (for B_3), or turn off this modifier. It slightly remove twitching of branches. Best regards, Eduard
Strob
I also noticed strange behaviour with wind... sometimes the motion gets jerky. And another even more annoying bug is sometimes some branches stop being animated and the branch gets disconnected. I have to deactivae and reactivate the branch and cross my finger that it will work ... Other than that when it works, the motion is very beautiful and natural. I hope you can fix the bug and make GrowFx the best tree tool around.
3DMK
Just playing with the wind as well & getting the same problem with the noise modifier causing branches to disappear & re-appear......it doesn't seem to do it with the Random direction so as a substitute I have been using that instead of the noise modifier if that's helpfull to anyone?? gmlealll
Thanks to Eduard the animation its now running smoothly, Eduard tweak my tree settings and it working now as it should. As I mentioned to Eduard it would be nice to have a tips/trick section, in case anyone else gets into the same issue here are his modifications/tips. If using wind animation: don’t use Noise Direction, use Random Direction Disable Orientation for leaves for the Vector Dir and Wind modifiers I have attached the new video just for comparison. Amazing support thanks! Guillermo Leal framingTree2.mp4.zip

FabioA
Hi, I´m using GrowFX 1.8.6 for 3dmax 2012 and my trees are flicking during render. I´m using Deadline for net rendering and some frames there are some missing branches and leaves. Is this behavior fixed in newest version? thanks. I also recommend to apply the Wind modifier in the After mesh modifiers. Cheers
