bartek_muczyn
Hi, i was wondering if GrowFX development has been abaddoned? There's been no update for ages and honestly, don't know if i should rely on this plugin for future projects anymore, or maybe start learning other software such as SpeedTree? I'm a bit worried because love the plugin, it's integration to Max, but no new features have been added for a long, long time and i don't know what is the future of GrowFX. Thanks in advance Bartek
Eduard
Hi Bartek, No, we continue developing GrowFX, don't worry. We are just trying to completely rewrite the mesh building code now, as there were some user requests to add some features, but the current code did not allow us to add these features. Before that, we were developing another big feature that was left unfinished. So this year, I hope there will be something new. Thanks! Hey Eduard, I don't suppose one of these features would be being able to draw branches? I think speedtree does it, as an example to compare to. You can click n drag out a branch and it will just grow following your mouse. I know there is the spline direction but I don't think it works in the same way.
