Steve Green
Hi, is there any way to hide the mesh names in the viewport? I'm creating previews to send to client, and they're a bit distracting when you have a few trees. I couldn't see anything on the object itself to turn it on/off Thanks, Steve
Eduard
Hi Steve Green, Yes of course, in the Meshes viewport mode, you can turn on the Hide Icon to hide the icon and its name. You can find this option in the Preference parameters rollout, I showed it in the screenshot: Thanks!
Steve Green
Hi, the Hide Icon option is greyed out for me, so I can't change it? (This was with a preset downloaded from the user library -maybe something is locked?) However even creating a fresh object (not building anything) it doesn't seem to make a difference on or off? Thanks
Eduard
Hi Steve Green, Maybe you have the Selection mesh checkbox is off? Please check this, if it's off, you'll not be able to select the object. Therefore, these two options work in pairs, i.e. if the Selection mesh is off, then hiding the icon is prohibited. Thanks!
