I'm really happy to announce my first big UE4 project. The Oak Forest. I worked really hard about 1 year on this project. The asset contains 22 different trees, 6 small plants and 6 photo scanned trunks. All trees have a realistic wind animation (light / strong breeze, mixed wind). You can change the wind animation speed easy on 1 parameter (UE4). All trees have LODs + Imposter. All tree models (except the grass) were made in Growfx. I am developing a game called "Inner Noise" on the Unreal Engine 4. In the story, the player will be most of the time in the forest, so it was decided to pay special attention to the plants. GrowFX is the only software for plant simulation, in which I can achieve the desired level of realism. Through the use of LOD manages to retain a reasonable number of polygons in the scene, and as a consequence, a high fps. (Translated in Google)
