  1. 3dsmax 2018 Corona Renderer 1.7 Growfx 1.9.9 SP6 Hi, I'm looking for some advice on instancing please. I'm new to Growfx, and CG generally, so there are many gaps in my knowledge. I'm building a room, inside which will be situated 25 plants. I have been testing Growfx recently and have built a plant I feel is sufficiently realistic, and now I need to create versions of it that appear unique. 2. Hello, I am new to GrowFX and I must say this tool amaze me. It is indeed a complete tool for foliage creation! Anyways, I looked up the website and the forum for an explination on how to use vertex color for leaf variation, but couldn't find what I needed. There are really beautiful renders by 3DMK for a tree with and without the use of vertex color, I tried to acheive a similar result but seems like I am missing something regarding VC and couldn't get to set it up right to create variation. Any advice or suggestion would be really appreciated! Thanks, Moh'd
  3. Hi All, Just recently finished a massive 3D project using GrowFX. At the top of the render you can see all the different trees & plants made for this project. GrowFX is so good that I can easily & quickly produce ANY tree or plant species specified by the client. For this project there were 7 different Tree species & 7 different plant species. GrowFX!!! - I wouldn't grow with anything else...lol Kind Regards Jamie
  4. RE: Vertex Colour example Hi All, Here is a quick test of the new vertex colour feature in 1.8 . It certainlly gives much better control of colour variation than the Random ID parameter. Thanks again for the awesome update Eduard.....using vertex colours is not only great looking but a HUGE time saver when it comes to preparing the materials. Cheers jamie
