[Material ID not working]

Hi Eduard:

 

I realized the Material ID is not working in my this working file.

I had assigned Material ID 3 but it only recognized it as Material ID 2.

As such the Chaos Material ID is not working as well in this case .

May I know whats cause and the solution to this?

Hi Eduard:

 

May I know how can i control the direction of the leaves at the tips of the branches so that they are all spreading outwards and all

facing upwards. Please see attached images for reference and the working file.

In additional , can we:

1) bend the leave mesh without using vector direction

2) have a few leaves shapes in a tree.

3) have different leaves angle across so that we can have some of the leaves bending upwards, downwards and laying flat.

 

Would appreciate that you can help me with my queries.
