made in my very little spare time i had the last days...so it's not final and i will fix the bottom trunk,the bark shader and ad some old mans beard

 

any suggestions to make the bottom trun nice and displaced would be much appreciated.also how to add the typical hanging old mans beard.

i am working on a rather complicated project for the moment with lot's of animated plants.the problem is that the update per frame takes horribly long :-( so i wonder if there could be added a cache mode like in rayfire per excample?that would speed some things dramaticly.

what you think?

thx mentor i am glad you like it.here i used a mesh for the needles just because i try to avoid alpha planes for leaves or needles.in cost of a huge polycount though :-( but for ecosystems i will have the needles as alpha planes of course.
