  1. After purchase, you can also download the special version - GrowFX rendernode, which you can install to any number of your render nodes or networked workstations. This version doesn't require activation. See here: How can I render my scenes with GrowFX objects on the renderfarm? Thanks!
  2. Hi, At the moment, our protection system doesn't allow to create a floating license. But you can install and activate it on 3 PC's, you can also deactivate / re-activate any number of times. After purchase please contact us by email and we'll help you to solve this problem. Thanks!
  3. Yes, the max 2014 have same binaries, ie we don't need to recompile the plugin. So you can use the GrowFX for max 2013 to install on your max 2014. Just max 2014 has some improvements of the display functions, and we want to use it. So it will take some time to developing. Cheers
  4. Your scene uses some plugins that we don't have... If you can use a mesh surface as an emitter, look at the attached scene... I added a sphere as an additional path with the Standard leaves, then copied GrowFX object and disable all mesh builders. This object can be used as an emitter. Cheers SIMPLE-TREE-C_MAX2011_035_1.max
  5. Hello, Thanks for your scene! I think the GrowFX is not related to this problem. It seems that the Octane renderer can't render a lot of polygons... Cheers
  6. I think in the next month. We now expect to download a new version of 3ds Max for testing... In general, GrowFX for 3ds Max 2013 will be able to run on 2014. Cheers
  7. Hi Everyone, We've developed the Copy direction modifier! Here's how it looks... Any comments and suggestions are welcome. There used only the Leaves mesh builder: Example of using the Radial offset graph: And your example: If anyone wants to try this version, please contact us by email... Cheers!
  8. Hi, Yes if course, it's possible with the Instanted geometry mesh builder. It uses any geometry object with its animation. Hmm, this feature is not yet available... How do you want to use it? Cheers
  9. Hi, At the moment it's impossible. But we plan to add this feature in the future. Yes, you can bake the whole object, but it will lose the animation. Cheers
  10. Hello, Ok, but how can we test it, if you say that with a simple example this works fine? We need a scene where this problem appears, then we'll try to fix it... Thanks!
  11. Hi, To do this, you need to collect your flower as a hierarchy objects (also you can make a group), then add into the Instanced geometry the main object of hierarchy, and turn on the Use hierarchy. The Instanced geometry will use all child objects of this hierarchy. Cheers
  12. Hi, It's already works, please try... If you're using the multi levels in the Path distributor, just add the Deviation Modifier to this path, and it will work as you want. Cheers
  13. Yes, we'll try to implement it quickly... Cheers
  14. Hi, On the other hand, for such distribution you can use an additional path. See my example and screenshot... And I think there will be more options for customization. But it can be used for straight trunks only. But we also plan to add a Copy direction modifier, which allows you to use this method with curved trunks... I think it will be the best solution for this problem, what do you think about this? Cheers BranchOffsetOnZ-axis_1.max
  15. Hi, Yes, you're right, need to add this parameter. We'll try to do it soon... Thanks!
  16. Hi Jamie, Ok, Thanks so much for your test! Cheers
  17. Hello, Please send us an email at support@exlevel.com, then I'll send you the download link. Thanks!
  18. Oh, sorry, just ".dlt" file for our server was as unknown type. Now fixed! Cheers
  19. Hi Everyone, We pleased to announce that the new plugin-texture is ready... You can download and try. Any comments, suggestions and bug reports are welcome... Download links: GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_9_Setup.exe GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_2009_Setup.exe GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_2010_Setup.exe GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_2011_Setup.exe GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_2012_Setup.exe GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_2013_Setup.exe GrowFXMultiMap_1_0_0_3dsMax_2014_Setup.exe How it works: I hope everything is clear. A detailed description will be later. Cheers Example_1.max.zip
  20. Hi, If you have not read our FAQs, I recommend you do this, there is a lot said about an Affects... Cheers
  21. I added the Affect from Parameter: Path position to the length of the branches1. Also I added the Affect from Parameter: Length of the branches1 to the leaves->Std_leaves_01->Size, and from Parameter: Length of the trunk to the branches1->Length. Also I deleted your all affects from the Parameter: Level. Please check the attached scene... Cheers test_1.max
  22. Hi, 1) Yes, your idea is good, we'll try to add this into distributor, or add an additional parameter like the Count Rate% in the Direction Modifiers... 2) The Optimize steps was developed mainly to optimize the Cylinder meshes, and of course, as you said, it should be used at the end of the Direction Modifiers stack. The After Mesh Modifiers not change the topology, ie this doesn't re-create the mesh (deleting/allocating a new memory blocks), but this changes the vertices position only, so it works is very fast! So the main idea - quickly calculate a wind animation... But regarding your idea, we can add something like Optimize mesh modifier, which will work in Mesh Builders... 3) I think it's possible to add some additional parameters for Start/End Slice modifier... Thanks! Thanks for your ideas! It's very appreciated! Cheers
  23. Hi, I added more Affects from the Parameter: Path position to the length of branches, and from the length of the trunk & branches to the branches length of the upper levels... Cheers Forest_Pine_05max_1.max
  24. Please send me your model with texture... And how do you re-scale the time? Thanks!
  25. I think it's better to develop a plugin texture, which will divide the bitmap into equal parts using the input gradient, for example, from vertex colors. What do you think about this? Today we'll try to develop this plugin... Cheers
