  1. Hi Midge, Yes, Paul is right. Add the Vector orientation modifier (in the Direction Modifiers panel) for your leaves, set the Strength % = 100, then choose X or Y orientation. More likely it will be Y orientation. Cheers
  2. Greetings all In the "Mesh Builders" tab for the leaves click the Vertex Color button. This will open the Vertex Color window. There simply turn on the VC: Coloring elements, and ready. All leaves have different colors. This can be seen, turning on the Display colors checkbox at the bottom. Then you can adjust the material using a Vertex Color texture map... Cheers

    Summer Tree

It seems he used Oak tree from the Plants Library... For the "connection" between trunk and branches was used the Metamesh builder. Cheers
  5. We've updated all the installation files on the server! And now you can download an update... Thanks again for your bug report!
  6. We've fixed the bug, and now we run the update process. Once this is done, I'll let you know! Thanks for your bug report!
  7. BTW, the Vertex color feature can be used to vary the textures as well. Look at the GrowFX MultiMap plugin, it can be downloaded here. How to use this plugin, see here. Cheers
  8. To do this, there are 2 ways: 1. Using the Chaos Material ID. You need to create several materials and collect them in a Multi-Sub object material. Then adjust Chaos Material ID parameters in setting mesh builder. 2. Using the Vertex color feature. See GrowFX Help, in the Vertex color section, also here was discussion of all its features. If it's not clear, I can create a simple example. Cheers
  9. I understand where your mistake You need to add branches. Do the following: 1. Add a new path. 2. Create the "Path distributor" for this path, branches will appear on the trunk in the Lines mode. 3. In the settings select Trunk path as a Starting path, branches will appear on the trunk in the Lines mode. 4. Then, add the MetaMesh builder and switch to the Meshes mode. As a result the branches will connect with the trunk smoothly... Thanks!
  10. Maybe you're doing something wrong. Please send me your model, I'll check it. Here's a screenshot, there everything works fine: But I can see the mesh on your screenshot, why you don't like it?
  11. That's right. Just a little move the viewport, ie update it. It will appears, but not immediately. It seems you have 3dsMax 2012, 2013 or 2014, and it's a problem with the Nitrous driver. In 3dsMax 2015 this problem is solved, also there we've improved the viewport display functions. Cheers
  12. You must use the MetaMesh for both paths, for the trunk and branches. And it's not dependent on the distributor... Cheers
  13. Yes, the bugs are critical for us, and we're trying to fix them asap. Thanks!
  14. For the trunk and branches please use the Meta mesh builder. It gives a smooth single mesh. Cheers
  15. It seems there some bug. We'll explore this issue. I'll let you know when this will be fixed. Thanks!
  16. The Standard leaves is a simple rigid mesh, and it maybe different, some of them are impossible to bend as you wish. We plan to add something like Extended leaves mesh, which will be able to deform along its path, like Instanced geometry. Cheers
  17. You need to use the Leaves mesh builder instead of the Standard leaves! Cheers
  18. You can create any number of leaves types on the same tree. To do this, just create it as an additional paths. If it's not clear, please send me your model, and explain in detail what you need... Thanks!
  19. Hi Roland, You showed a screenshot of the Material Editor Please see in the GrowFX settings... Cheers
  20. We've updated all files... Thanks again!
  21. We've already found and fixed the bug. Now we update all the installation files, and as soon as it's ready, I'll let you know... Thanks for your bug report! Cheers
  22. Hi kevinshane, "5-User Corporate License" is a license for 5 persons in one company! At the moment, there is no lock on the same LAN, and you can use in any place. But in the future, we plan to introduce it... Everyone wants to be as an independent customer and have their own license. If you're not afraid of losing the license, you can buy on the group. We monitor all licenses, and if leakage occurs, we'll be forced to block it. Thanks for your understanding! I'll be glad to see you among our customers! Cheers
  23. The promo code will be directly on the purchase page. "Buy Now" button will include this coupon. Cheers
  24. Thanks for the bug report! Later today we'll check it... Cheers
