Awesome program, love the new meta mesh! Just a few things that would be nice to see implemented: 1. Greater control over the individual positions in the path position distributor. It is nice to be able to control all of their properties at once, such as length, angle bend, etc. however, if i am trying to copy a specific tree from a photo or trying to get a branch in a specific place to fill in gaps, it is some times difficult. I could do this with multiple paths, but it makes things very complicated. Maybe an override option for the individual positions would be nice. 2. maybe a few more presets for the leaf mesh. I have had some difficulty getting accurate outlines for multi lobed leaves like oaks or maples. I have tried modelling a few in max and using them as instanced meshes, however, they are not as easy to manipulate within growFX as the native leaf mesh. I have tried using the length graph, however it doesn't always get me the shape I need easily. 3. Some way to trim individual paths without having to use object slice. (although for less specific opperations object slice is great ) This may be a hard one. 4. More control over instanced mesh positions and scales. for some reason every time I have used instanced meshes the scale and pivot points change dramatically from the pivot point and scale of the original max object. Is their a way to fix this? Thats all I've got. Great program !!!! gets better all the time
  2. In the global meta mesh settings I set the iterations to 1000 and still get good results in much less time, Also instead of just adding applying a mesh at default face size (1" i think) I changed it to around 3 or 4 then copied and pasted it into the mesh parameter of the new path so that I wouldn't have to apply the default settings and optimize after the fact. Another time save is the stop stitching option. I have been setting meshes to stop stitching around 20 and this appears to save allot of time as well.
  3. I have been using cgtextures.com for my tree textures. You can find almost anything there. good luck
