Umbrella Pine
I had a request for an umbrella pine, neat tree ! When I looked up it seems that its actually the same as the stone pine but I was already an hour or so into it, so I guess we have two now It's a very challenging tree and great for practice.
The upper structure still needs some work. I don't think pines' branch angle changes until almost the tree top, also I think some changes need to the needle bearing branches, But I think it is to a decent enough point that I wanted to share it. This week is really busy so I will make final tweaks and upload a more final version for you guys next week.
Also, if any other users have some good suggestions for the libraries feel free to post on the forum and If my schedule permits I can try to make a few more for the community.
Have fun

Pine B
A long leaf pine from East Texas. 32' high with bonus pinecones. Textures are included.
For the sake of file size the needles are turned off. Just turn them on before use.
all total around 4 million polys.

An agave
I accidentally made it huge so you might want to use the scale command under the preferences tab.

Large tree with some vertex color
A nice large tree. I didn't use any reference so it is not any particular kind of tree. The textures are from 3dtextures.com with some photoshop changes. 3d textures is a great cheap source for textures. i am pretty sure these were in the free downloads I have a membership so I cannot tell the difference as the restriction tags do not appear.
the textures are just mental ray standard. there is no opacity mapped to the leaves so that I could get quick test renders. The leaves are just two poly squares. If you would like a defined shape simply put the opacity map of your choice into the cutout channel.
You might also wish to swap out the arch materials for something translucent.
lastly if you have vray you can use a displacement on the bark. Mental ray's displacement is difficult to work with.
