  1. Flip normals did it! Thanks. Not sure why though, as they are now inverted on the object cutter shape but it looks to have worked so I'll go with that. Thanks again.
  2. Hi Im trying to shape my tree using the object slicer but i cant get it to influence the branch1 shape at all using custom geometry. I have tried the exlevel helper primitives and they work so I think I have everything in the right place. I have tried using a max sphere and ffd to create the custom shape and also a standard box. Also tried collapsing the slicing object to a mesh but nothing has an effect on the tree unless I use the exlevel primitive but I want an more complex shape than that. Is there an obvious mistake I'm making? Unfortunately I cant share my file as its a bought one. Many thanks for any help on this.
