Hi Everyone,

We have prepared a new beta version, it's available to customers only.

What's New in GrowFX 1.8.5 Beta:

+ Added full compatibility with 3ds Max 2013 and 3ds Max Design 2013 (32 and 64-bit);
+ Improved algorithm for wind animation;
+ Added Highlighted paths mode;
+ Added new options Align width and Along edge in the UVW Mapping rollout for the Leaves mesh;
+ Smooth growth of ending point for Noise direction modifier;
+ Added ability to disable calculations (for opening crashed scenes);
To do this click Start menu > All programs > Exlevel > GrowFX for 3dsMaxXXXX XX-bit > Disable calculations.
+ Correct copying a path name when you copy the path;
+ Multi select paths for deleting and highlighting;
+ Don't open the message window every time;
+ Some minor bugs are fixed.

A detailed description and user manual will be available later.

Here's some examples:

An element name will become incorrect if a previous scene is loaded by 3ds Max 2013. :wacko:
Maybe, it is a unicode problem of 3dsMax 2013.

I am checked on 3ds Max 2013 English and Japanese Language mode on Windows Japanese.

Before 3dsMax 2012 with no problem.

Hi Eduard,

Thank you for this release. I appreciate you being prompt with updating GrowFX to support 2013.

I have also noticed that opening a file in 2013 that was initially created in 2012 swaps to using the Japanese language. I am from Australia and using the English language. This issue does not occur when creating a new GrowFX object in a fresh 2013 scene.

It's not a big deal, but I thought I would flag this also.

Thanks again,

Leon

Hi Everyone,

We've fixed some bugs related with the names (for compatibility with 3ds Max 2013).
Now you can download and install the new version again.

Cheers
